As the people living in China are suffering from the outbreak of the severe Coronavirus strain in Wuhan, China, the Chinese government has pledged they are building a hospital with 1,000 beds in max 10 days to treat the virus victims.
Yes, this is true. Given the massive out-break issue, Chinese government has started the construction on Jan. 24, 2020 and within days the hospital is ready to take its first patient in for treatment. According to the New York Times the hospital named, Huoshenshan Hospital, has accepted patients on Feb, 3rd 2020.
As unbelievably impossible it may sound, it’s not exactly the first time the government of China had put up a hospital in matter of days to deal with an outbreak. In 2003, Beijing also set-up a hospital for treating SARS patients in one week.
With a rough estimate of 45 million quarantined people in China, the country is doing all in its power to contain the deadly virus. The strain dubbed as 2019-nCoV has already taken 452 lives.
Another new hospital is already under construction in Wuhan, China and should be completed by Feb, 5 2020.
