First Indian satellite of 2020 Gsat-30 successfully launched

As the first mission of the Year, the Indian Space Research Organisation launches its communication satellite for the year which is GSAT30. It was launched by the European commercial launcher Arianespace. The satellite is expected to provide extended coverage in the C-band which the broadcasters will be used into being their programs over the Asian countries and Australia. The expected mission life of the satellite is 15 years and it will also join 19 other communication satellites that are currently working. It comes over a month after the existing PSLV mission put it in the orbit along with the other 9 customer satellites.
