Princess Beatrice and her Fiance Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi released an official statement in regards to their wedding date and venue. The wedding date is to take place on Friday 29 May 2020 and with Her Majesty the Queen’s permission, the ceremony will take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.
In lieu of gifts, Beatrice and Edoardo have requested their well-wishers to promote the hard work of two charities that are close to their hearts: Big Change and Cricket Builds Hope.
Big Change, founded by Beatrice and her friends in 2010 is known as the “social impact accelerator” which invests in ideas to young people who can thrive in life.
Cricket Builds Hope, co-founded by Edoardo in 2011. The charity uses the spirit of the game and cricket to give a positive social change effort in Rwanda. The charity helps promote and tackle deep-seated issues like gender inequality.
Prince William and Kate Middleton also had set-up a Royal Wedding Charitable Fund in 2011, when they tied the knot. The fund raised £1m for 26 charities.
