Scientists discover car-sized turtle fossil

New discoveries always fascinating and on that note, the scientist in South America happened to dug up some fossils from one of the largest turtles in the world has ever seen. The Turtles are of a Car size and they have been called Stupendemys Geographicus now. The species have lived before 13 million to 7 million years. 

The Guardian quotes paleontologist Edwin Cadena from the University of Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia, who led research on the finding as saying, “the largest individuals of this species were about the size and length of a sedan automobile if we take into account the head, neck, shell, and limbs.”
