Kolette is a 7 year old girl who loves princesses and loves to sing. Oh, she loves racing dragsters as well.
Just like any other girl, Kolette Dicero wakes up and keeps her stuffed animal, Papa Bear, on the pillow and hurries to pick her dress and quickly wears her wedge-shaped shoes and picks her purse.
Seeing her, her father Anthony Dicero reminds her we are going for racing. Back in his days Anthony had a drag racing career, but today it’s not him, but his 7-year-old daughter who’s drag racing.
Being a father he doesn’t want her to stop being a girl, but he’s happy his daughter likes racing. Now, if you are saying: “Isn’t she too young?”, well she began when she was 5, so she has 2 years experience in drag racing, so that makes her a professional.
She began to show interest when she was only a year old. It began in her father’s Brownsburg, Indiana garage, which he shared with NHRA professional drag racer Antron Brown. She used to play around Brown’s stored junior dragsters of his son’s.
By 4, she was like, when’s it her turn and by 5 she said: ‘OK. Let’s go.'”
So, her father decided to get her a junior dragster. Which is about 15 feet long and weighs nearly 300 pounds and has a 5 horsepower Briggs and Stratton motor. Your lawnmower has a 5 horsepower engine, and can puck up speeds of 85 mph. But, Kolette is allowed on 50 mph, as she’s just a kid in second grade!
